Do You Qualify?

This service is for uncontested California divorces where both spouses agree on the major issues. Please answer honestly.

Court forms still use Petitioner and Respondent. This tells us which spouse is filing.

Wife's Information

Enter the wife’s legal information. Court forms will list her as Petitioner or Respondent depending on who is filing.

Husband's Information

Enter the husband’s legal information. Court forms will list him as Petitioner or Respondent depending on who is filing.

Marriage & Separation

Basic facts about your marriage required for the Petition.

The date you decided the marriage was over and stopped living as spouses (even if still under the same roof).

These are California divorce forms. You can use them if you meet California residency requirements, even if you were married in another state or country.

Residency / California jurisdiction

Either one of you must have lived in California for the past six months, or both of you must currently live in California. For a divorce, at least one of you must also have lived in the filing county for the past 90 days (3 months).

Military

Children

Minor children (under 18) of this relationship. This affects which forms are generated.

Property & Debts

Use this section only if you and your spouse can agree on how to divide what you own and what you owe.

Community property. In California, this usually means assets acquired from the date of marriage to the date of separation. Earnings during the marriage, and things bought with those earnings, are generally owned equally by both spouses.

Community debts. The same time period applies. Debts incurred between marriage and separation are generally shared community obligations, even if only one spouse’s name is on the account.

After payment, the interview lets you list each asset and debt and say who keeps or pays it. You do not need to describe the division here.
The next two questions are only used to see if you may qualify for Summary Dissolution (a simpler process with property and debt limits). They are not used to divide your property. A rough total is enough — this is not an appraisal.
A rough number is enough. This is only a screening question.

Spousal Support & Name Restoration

Final personal orders often requested in uncontested cases.

Your Path

This service is for uncontested cases where both spouses cooperate and will sign the papers.

Standard uncontested dissolution is the path that fits this service. Both spouses cooperate and sign. That is the package we prepare.

California requires each spouse to share a snapshot of income, property, and debts with the other spouse before the judgment is signed. You will get those forms in your download. You do not need to have exchanged them yet.
